| DEI's Floor and Tunnel Shield/ Heat & Sound Insulation is able to withstand direct temperatures up to 1750°F and insulate up to 50% of unwanted road noise. It was constructed utilizing an embossed 10 mil. aluminum face, bonded to a 1/8" composite fiberglass insulation and backed with an aggressive adhesive that holds past 450°F. It is only 3/16" thick, requires minimal clearance and can be shaped and trimmed for any custom fit. Floor and Tunnel Shield provclasses the optimal way to reflect heat away from vehicle components and is perfect for protecting under hoods, firewalls, fuel cells, and exterior areas such as transmission tunnel, floor pans and other under-vehicle locations. |

Made of one mil. aluminized material that has been bonded to woven fiberglass, DEI Cool-Tape has a super strong self-adhesive backing capable of protecting up to 2000°F of radiant heat. | Reflect-A-Cool is constructed of fiberglass material that is backed with a layer of aluminized reflective foil, so that it can handle direct continuous temperature of 400°F (2000°F radiant heat). It uses include covering firewalls, marine engine compartments, RVs, within the tub of a race car (where typical mechanical fasteners cannot be used), as well as many industrial uses. Heat Screen is an excellent way to reflect radiant heat away from a vehicle‘s interior. With a thickness of only .060", Heat Screen is constructed of a high-temperature resistant fiberglass material. On one sclasse, it has a thermal barrier made of a superior reflective aluminized mylar surface that is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1200°F. Heat Screen can be used to protect areas where excessive heat can blister paint or where exhaust pipes run close to the fuel tank. It has many other applications including floorboards, body panels and under carpeting. A high temperature adhesive, such as DEI’s Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive or Heat Resistant Sealant/Adhesive, can be applied to secure Heat Screen, or screws or rivets can be used.
